Excalibur Family Fun Center
A madcap medieval castle filled with oodles of modern fun, Excalibur Family Fun Center features a room full of video games plus a giant indoor playground. There’s also a miniature golf course, go-kart raceway, batting cages, 3,000-square-foot laser tag course and much more. Take on the ultimate challenge of climbing the castle itself, a challenging wall climb with safety harnesses and auto belay systems.
Louisiana Purchase Gardens and Zoo
With more than 750 animals, the Louisiana Purchase Gardens and Zoo is the largest animal sanctuary in this part of the state. Highlights include the Reptile House, Catwalk, Primate House and Creatures of the Night area. There’s also a boat ride that features many species of animals that cannot be viewed from the park’s walking paths. Don’t miss the giraffe feeding session!
The Jungle Gym
The Jungle Gym boasts 9,100 square feet of air-conditioned and heated indoor playroom fun. There’s a full concession area featuring yummy pizza, an arcade full of video games and special rooms set aside for birthday parties. There are ball pits, slides and all sorts of other activities for your little monkeys.
Chennault Park
Chennault Park is best known for its 18-hole public golf course, but this 500-acre park also features facilities for Frisbee golf, a softball field, picnic areas, paved walking trail and the Northeast Louisiana Soccer Complex. Many family-friendly events, including the Mother’s Day Blues Fest, Delta Fest and outdoor concerts are also held here.
